Does KianPFM connect to my bank?
No. KianPFM never asks for bank credentials and never connects to any financial institution. You log transactions manually.
Where is my data stored?
Inside a local database on your phone. Nothing is uploaded by default — you decide if and when anything leaves the device. Uninstalling the app removes everything; backing up is a single tap to a JSON file.
Is anything synced to the cloud?
No. The current Android release has no cloud-sync feature. You can move data yourself with an exported JSON backup.
Is it really free?
Yes. No ads, no in-app purchases. The core app will stay free. We may add a paid plan later for optional sync and family features.
What about security on my phone?
The database lives in the app’s private storage, protected by Android’s per-app sandbox. KianPFM does not currently include an in-app biometric lock.
