Does KianPFM connect to my bank?
No. KianPFM never asks for bank credentials and never connects to any financial institution. You log transactions manually — which is also why it works fully offline and works for cash.
Where is my data stored?
Inside an encrypted local database on your phone. Nothing is synced, uploaded, or shared. Uninstalling the app removes everything; backing up is a single tap to a JSON file.
Can I use it on multiple devices?
Not automatically — there is no cloud, by design. You can export on one device and import on another, or use Android backup. The trade-off is full ownership of your data.
Is it really free?
Yes. No ads, no premium tier, no in-app purchases. It is a small project I built for myself and decided to publish.
What about security on my phone?
The database lives in the app's private storage, protected by Android's per-app sandbox. Optional biometric lock keeps the app itself private when handing the phone to someone.
